A sad and depressing documentary, entitled “Garbage Island” follows a crew of folks as they venture out to the Pacific Ocean to find what has been nicknamed “Garbage Island”. Essentially the currents of the Pacific Ocean pick up a bunch of plastics and floating trash debris and gather them up in one huge (twice the size of Texas) island mass of humankind’s most wretched abuse of Mother Earth.
